Hey, My name is Baya, and I'm a feminist
I got out of my muddy hiking boots and into heels for the Woodstock Street shoot
.Literally
I believe Feminism fights for equality between gender. Feminism means that all women are treated with respect.
Truth, I am scared, scared of some things, places & people. I don't think anyone should feel scared - I'd much rather be safe AND free.
If I could, I would vote for a female president because she should be able to represent the people, as the president
If the best option was to create a society where women were heard? Would
that be such a bad thing? As a 20 year old women I believe that media is doing a better job of uplifting women
Movements like Time's Up help credit acts of courage by women. The cycle of women speaking up has resulted in more women doing the same, this is much better than examples of media in the past.
My life motto is;
"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are they ones who do."
This motto is by Steve Jobs.
Even though I am not a South African woman I want to be remembered as a fearless woman who loved all, and conquered the impossible - And that makes me queen.
My name, is unique, and the story behind my name speaks for my beautiful cultural roots.
My parents put six names in a rice cooker. They added uncooked rice and shook it. The first name that popped out was Bayasgalan.
My Ethnic Background is Mongolian. I am full time student in the USA The perception of others towrds me due to my vagina is actually a pretty big obstacle in my life. Do I care for it? Nope
An interesting tradition you probably didn't know from my culture is that we do not share clothes outside the blood line.
I want my story to be different, I want to change the world. Some people tell me that this dream is too big, but I'll do it. I just need a little help with finding out how.
Who is the most important person in your life?
My mother.
