I recently was invited to tea with a group of energetic women. I was the youngest guest asides from one of the woman's daughter. We cut slices of cake, sipping from our tea cups, we planned Women's day.

Considering the message that SAQWS has been trying to make, and the reason behind this campaign is that very little has been shared about the public holiday that is looming. My grin began to hurt after a while. These ladies got me.
An hour flew by and suddenly, we have an event to celebrate Women's Day.
The ladies who sat around me deserve their own blog. So I took to my keyboard to do what I do best, writing. Regardless, describing these Queens is a difficult challenge.
The first woman was a mother. Her daughter a great sign of her success in her family. She was tall, beautiful and fragile. Her story is fascinating, of this I am sure. She had big eyes, which sparkled magically of her experiences. She had seen a lot.
Her face was soft, yet the delicate lines around her eyes, show her success as a woman. She was so kind, and so genuine. What a woman, I have been honored to meet someone who is so capable and independent.
The second woman was passionate, full of fire. She wore a golden dusted scarf wrapped around her. She could set fire to Cape Town with the energy she carried on her shoulders. She was explosively beautiful.
The queen mentioned the power of the energy of women in numbers.
She discussed the last two women's days and how her experience had changed her goals for this year's event. She wants to make it about the women. Finally!
I am excited to say that this Queen is organizing the event for #SAQWS! Her ideas fountained from her creative mind, like a powerful surge of magic and reality. She is strong, you could see it from the way she held herself.
The phone was constantly ringing, and she solved every problem that was thrown at her. One hour was not nearly enough time to discover her story. But as a woman I found strength to continue this movement, because of this interaction. This Queen gave me the confidence to bring my idea's to reality. Money does not phase her, she knows she will get what she wants with it, or without it. Her perception & passion made her the center of the occasion.
We discussed venue, catering and of course, the guest list.
I have made one promise to these Queens. They have been kind enough to adopt SAQWS and now that we have mommies on board. I am sure this movement has a solid message. I have promised to share the event to get as many powerful women together in one place on Woman's Day.
Monsoon_Photography will be there, of course, But Monique Hollis will be a guest speaker. Which is an honor in its own right.
Thanks for the tea, ladies.
And thank you for the power you ladies control. It's quite something to behold.
